Demarest School

On Monday February 6, former Demarest students made a presentation and a donation of a school banner to adorn the Demarest gym.
“Along with making countless memories, we learned many valuable lessons in our years at Demarest School,” said the students in a speech to Principal Mary Todaro and the Demarest Home and School Association. “The most important being the "Three R's":
Ready to Learn, Respect for Self and Others and Responsibility for all actions. So on behalf of the 6th Grade Class of 2011, we would like to present Demarest School with the gift of this banner with our appreciation.”

The BMS National Junior Honor Society is collecting new, adult socks for disadvantaged women in Bloomfield and Montclair, and homeless men and women in Irvington.
There are collection boxes at the school store in the café, and the Vest Grove. The last day for collection is Friday, Feb. 24th.
