• Volleyball had a solid week, defeating league rivals Science Park and Montclair. Against Montclair the boys dropped the first game before roaring back to win the next two games in runaway fashion.

• Baseball had the bats ringing early in the week-pummeling West Essex and West Orange. Unfortunately the offense cooled off in losses to Nutley and Bayonne.

• Golf bested West Side and competed in the Forest Hill Invitational.

• Softball beat the Buccaneers of Belleville but found little success in losses to West Essex, Nutley and Governor Livingston.

• The track program performed well at the Ranger Relays at Wallkill Valley HS. The boys team placed second overall and the girls 3rd overall. On the girls side Gold Medals were won by the 4X100, 4X200 and javelin teams. Sprint medley, Shot Put-second place, and Discus-third place. The boys also had some standout performances; Distance Medley, Long Jump and Shot Put-first place; Javelin, Discus, 4X100- second place; 4X200, 4X800 and shuttle hurdles –third place.
