Armed Robbery on Fontaine Avenue and Parkway West
Police blotter for week of May 14-21, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Bloomfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction for any of the arrests listed.
ARMED ROBBERY
On May 16, three people reported that they were walking in the vicinity Parkway West & Fontaine Avenue when they were approached by a black male who brandished a silver handgun. According to the police report, the three victims were relieved of their property and the suspect got away in a dark, older model Toyota driven by a black female. The car was last seen headed towards Watsessing Avenue.

BURGLARY
On May 14, a resident of a Franklin Street apartment reported that a laptop, a paycheck, and keys were discovered missing.
BURGLARY INTO AUTO
On May 16, an unknown person broke into a 2006 Infiniti at 17 Grace Street and broke the driver’s side lock. A jacket, some CDs and some change were taken.
On May 17, a 2007 Infiniti parked at 41 Lake Street was broken into. A Mac book laptop, Mc helmet and jacket were taken.
On May 17, a 2011 Nissan was broken into at 185 Nth 16 Street. A GPS, some CD’s and some change were taken.
STOLEN VEHICLE
On May 14, a 2008 Ford Flatbed truck with NJ Registration was stolen from Arlington Avenue.
On May 18, a 2006 Volvo was stolen from 351 Broad Street.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE
On May 15, a man reported that someone entered his car at 62 New Street and stole an Ipod, Cellphone and a TGIF gift card.
On May 16, a cellphone charger and a pair of sunglasses were reported missing from a Volkwagon parked at 24 Grove Street.
On May 17, a car parked at 254 Franklin Street was reported ransacked but nothing was found to be missing.
THEFT
On May 17, a woman reported that numerous pieces of jewelry are missing from her house on Darling Avenue.
On May 19, A woman reported that her pocketbook was removed from a shopping cart while she shopped on Franklin Street.
On May 22, 65 Star Ledger newspapers were reported taken before the store opened at 37 Carteret Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On May 19, A 2003 Nissan was “keyed” while it was parked at 307 Hoover Avenue.
On May 18, a 2005 Dodge has its windshield shattered and battery cables cut while it was parked at 61 Bukowski Place.
ARRESTS
5-15-2012 Shalonda Comer of Newark was arrested for Warrants.
5-17-2012 Shardee Boyce of Bloomfield was arrested for Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, Poss. CDS.
5-17-2012 Michael Wang of Livingston was arrested for DWI.
5-18-2012 Arioste Moncion of Bloomfield was arrested for Terroristic Threats & Possession of a Weapon.
5-20-2012 Ever Rojas of Bloomfield was arrested for DWI.
5-21-2012 Jaime Hernandez of Bloomfield was arrested for DWI.
