The first winter snowstorm of 2012 began late last night, greeting Bloomfield residents with a winter landscape this morning.
According the National Weather Service, inclement weather will continue off and on all weekend. As of 9:40 am, there were 3-4 inches of snow accumulation, with five inches expected by the time it tapers off later this afternoon.

Transportation
Because there is still snow on roadways, motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
No delays have been reported on public transportation but travelers are advised to allow extra time for transit.

The DECAMP website has not reported cancellations or delays in bus service in and out of New York.
