"We were holding the chickens in our yard until they found their owner or a good home. A nice family who already owns chickens came by to pick them up this morning and add them to their flock. The hens found a new home!"

The previous notice, sent to Patch on Saturday morning by another Bloomfield resident, read:

"Two beautiful chickens showed up this morning on our street. We live on State Street across from the cemetery back gate. As far as we know no one around here has chickens, and I don't think Bloomfield allows them, so we think they might have come from Glen Ridge. We're hoping to reunite them with their owner."

Are these chickens yours?  If not, do you know whose they might be?
