Joanow, Venezia to Discuss Bloomfield's Future

Residents can get insight on where officials see the town heading.

At his town hall meeting for December, Councilman Nick Joanow looks at the future of Bloomfield.

At Wednesday night's meeting, Mayor-elect Michael Venezia and Council-at-Large elect Wartyna (Nina) Davis, Joe Lopez, and Carlos Pomares will make a short presentation on their vision of the future of Bloomfield and how Bloomfield will be different under their leadership. 

Joanow said that First Ward Councilman Elias Chalet and Third Ward Councilman Carlos Bernard are also expected to attend to round out Bloomfield’s future leadership team.  He stressed that this evening will be for the attending public to gain insights into the views of the incoming Mayor and Council-at-Large members.

The speakers will discuss their views of the future of Bloomfield.  A dialog with the attending public will follow this presentation.  Topics for the public dialog will be focused on the broad visions of the future Mayor and Council members and will not be focused on any present specific issues of Bloomfield.
