Bagels Abroad and Bloomfield Doctor Honored by Red Cross
Beloved bagel shop and local doc recognized for joint blood drive.
Hot Bagels Abroad has become a local institution for its bagels and breakfast sandwiches. But this month, the Broad Street institution was recognized for its contributions to health instead of the breakfast table.
At a recent “Heroes of The Heart” recognition dinner at the Mayfair Farms in West Orange, the Red Cross bestowed the popular bagel sport and Brookdale medical practice Bloomfield Total Health Center with the Outstanding Community Group Award.
Hot Bagels Abroad and Bloomfield Total Health Center have collaborated in a blood drive for several years.

Over the past few years, with the help of many loyal donors, an extraordinary number of lives have been touched. Frank Grauso of Hot Bagels Abroad and Dr. Michael Credico of Bloomfield Total Health Center thanked their sponsors and donors for their support in this blood drive and encouraged Bloomfield residents to come out to their next event on Sept. 28.
