Steven T. Walker, Neighbor

A freelance journalist, writer and newspaper reporter with over 25 years of experience, Steve has worked in all facets of the media in and around New York metropolitan area ranging from daily newspaper work with The Newark Star-Ledger and Herald & News of Passaic to work with various weekly and monthly publications.

Steve has served as spokesman for county and state entities as well as, a daily newspaper reporter for New Jersey's largest paper, The Star-Ledger; Managing Editor in Essex County for the state's largest weekly newspaper chain, Worrall Publications; copy editor for The Observer newspaper in Kearny and a freelance reporter/editor for a number of magazines and websites, including The Source of New York City.

Steve earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Rutgers University, with a concentration in History and Criminology.
