ReplyI hear that Ms. Tabdella (sp?) is starting her own 501(c)3 so that she has total control over the monies collected for the animals and the Bloomfield Bukowski Shelter. For those thinking of donating - don't- you'll be wasting your money - Do adopt and ask if you can foster- get those poor dogs and cats out of her clutches.

ReplyDanise
Why did you collect e-mail addresses and phone numbers from adoptors files at the the Bloomfeld Bukowski Animal Shelter? Did you really think that it was legal to take that data from the files and then use it to e-mail and call people?
Are you on the Committeee that was making copies of people's drivers licenses, medicare and third party insurance cards. Did you really think that was legal? I'm sure that you know that photocopying Medicare and other Health Cards is a volation of HIPPA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ) http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/enforcement/index.html

ReplyLaura - did her husband even bother to identify himself? I don't "just want to point fingers" I want credit placed where it is due- directly as Ms. Wolf's feet. She needs to take some responsibility.
Did you know that we also have Joe Lopez, former BOE President running for Town Council. Mr. Lopez brags that during his tenure that there was a 0% increase to taxpayers.
That's cauce YOU spent the surplus that we had Joe. It's gonna follow you around - people remember.
Hey Pete- good to see you!
and Laura - I keep pushing at town meetings to allow non-NTNN volunteers back at the animal shelter. From my questions last night it seems that they are still making copies of adopters drivers licenses, medicare and 3rd party insurance cards and keeping them in the files. NTNN used those files to harvest e-mails and phone numbers of adopters in order to market their animal services to the townchip. I'll keep bringing up their unethical practices. Last night Mr. Ehrenberg said that if adoptors give their licenses as ID that it is essentially their problem if they turn up in the files- incidentally NTNN does not require bonding for it's volunteers!

I supported this effort until I found out that they nailed and stapled their signs to the living trees in the park. What were they thinking??
What happened to chalk on the asphalt or putting up small stakes with signs on them? Why harm our trees?
