The Problems with High Stakes Testing in our Public Schools Bloomfield BOE member Dan Anderson blogged this week about the increased emphasis on high stakes testing in public schools, saying the tests are unreliable indicators of quality and do not necessarily reflect higher quality teaching and learning. Bloomfield Police Seek Public’s Help in Finding Missing Resident Police and concerned friends and family of missing 21-year-old Bloomfield resident Nycal Velasquez are asking for the public’s help after his abandoned car was found in Fort Lee and reportedly contained a suicide note.
