NJ Transit, DeCamp Bus Lines Cross-Honoring Tickets

NJ Transit plans to operate a regular weekday schedule on Friday. Depending on the impact of the storm, it may be necessary to modify service as conditions change.

As snow continues to fall on Friday, it is sure to give headaches to commuters trying to get home for the weekend.  Here are the latest updates from DeCamp Bus Lines and NJ Transit as of 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Stay tuned for further updates.  DeCamp Bus Lines DeCamp Bus Lines will be cross-honoring NJ Transit bus and rail tickets through the end of Friday. The bus line posted on its website to anticipate delays. NJ Transit NJ Transit will cross-honor tickets statewide through the end of Friday. NJ Transit will allow customers to use tickets or passes on an alternate travel mode — rail, bus or light rail, as well as private carrier buses.  All customers are strongly advised to check njtransit.com before traveling for up-to-the-minute service …

PATH Service Between WTC and Hoboken to Resume For First Time Since Sandy

The line has been out of service since Hurricane Sandy hit in October 2012.

Many commuters are getting their usual commute back. Direct PATH service between the World Trade Center and Hoboken — which has been suspended since Hurricane Sandy three months ago — is scheduled to resume Wednesday morning at 6 a.m., the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced on Tuesday. The line is that last one to resume service. For this first time since October 29, 2012, the PATH system is running normally during weekdays again. Round the clock service has also been fully restored, running between Newark and 33rd Street via Hoboken and Newark to World Trade Center. Overnight service between Newark and World Trade Center was restored on Monday. Exchange Place and World Trade Center Stations will remain closed weekends …
