Walking in the front door of Piano’s Bar & Grill on a Thursday will place you dead center in the middle of the stage in the barroom. A scary place to be. If, by chance, someone named “Lexi” has already taken the mic and started singing a soul-stirring rendition of “How Come U Don’t Call Me” by Alicia Keys (by way of Prince) you can count yourself as lucky. If that same “Lexi” finishes her song, thanks the crowd and rushes over to take your drink order you know it’s karaoke night at Pianos.
