Bloomfield’s Township council holds a conference meeting in room 205 of the Law Enforcement Building on Monday night at 7. The agenda includes an update on the municipal budget from Township Administrator Ted Ehrenberg. Ehrenberg will also discuss plans for purchasing six police vehicles. Councilman Nick Joanow is slated to introduce a resolution rejecting an expansion of the Transco Pipeline run through Through Bloomfield. Monday Bloomfield's Township Council holds its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the municipal building. They will discuss changing laws governing when barbershop can operate. Also, they will discuss an ordinance that would prohibit parking commercial vehicles on city streets between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The full agenda is here. Tuesday The Bloomfield School Board will hold an emergency meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the school administration building to discuss the Schools budget. The board last week voted down a proposed budget described as "armageddon" by the head of the district's teacher's union.
