Series airs this week at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
If you tuned in to CNN tonight, you may have noticed a familiar school flash on the TV screen — Mt. Pleasant Elementary School in West Orange. The school was one of six chosen by CNN for Anderson Cooper's special report on race titled, "Kids on Race, The Hidden Picture." Thirty first-grade students — 15 Caucasian and 15 African-American students — were randomly chosen and interviewed for 15 minutes each. Dr. Melanie Killen, the segment's child development expert and a professor at the University of Maryland, interviewed the students on Jan. 11 and 25 at the school. In CNN interview, he says ‘I’m 100% certain I’m not going to run' in 2012.
Gov. Chris Christie said he’s “100 percent certain I’m not going to run” for President in 2012 last night on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” Sitting in the gym of Livingston High School where Christie graduated in 1980, the governor said he's not ready. “I wouldn’t want to say, ‘I know I can win. I hope I am ready,” Christie said in the interview that aired on CNN Tuesday night. “I’d rather say, ‘I know I am ready. I hope I can win.” At the Christie’s home in Mendham, Mary Pat Christie added, “We all decided as a team it’s probably not the right time.” Christie, a rising star of the Republican Party, sat down with Morgan on June 8. CNN Interview to air tonight at 9 p.m.
CNN's Piers Morgan and Gov. Chris Christie talked politics and 2012 in their interview at the Livingston High School gym last week, CNN says today in promoting the hourlong interview that will air 9 p.m. Tuesday. In an excerpt released on its website, Morgan hones in on the recent controversy surrounding Christie using a state helicopter to go to his son’s baseball game. "I'm a father first," said Christie. "I miss a lot of stuff with my kids, and I'm not complaining, that's the nature of this job.
