In this installment of Visions for Vacancies, the Bloomfield Patch asks: what do you think should move into 50 Broad St., the former Annie Sez department store.  All possibilities are on the table. We ask you to forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump-lot coverage rules, and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. Visions for Vacancies: What Should Move Into 562 Bloomfield Ave.?

Bloomfield Patch asks what you want to see move into the former movie theater.

  In this installment of Visions for Vacancies, the Bloomfield Patch asks: what do you think should move into 562 Bloomfield Ave., the former movie theater? All possibilities are on the table. 5 Things: Help for Businesses After Irene

State is providing credit, grants to help with storm’s cleanup.

Businesses struggling to clean up after Irene may be eligible for assistance services offered by the NJ Business Action Center. The services include: 1. Access to lines of credit of up to $500,000 for businesses that need access to cash to improve their damaged property while awaiting insurance proceeds. 2.  Grant awards for businesses to assist with on-the-job training costs for new workers hired specifically to assist in disaster-related activities, such as landscaping and tree removal, construction, insurance claims, building supplies sales, materials transport, utility work, call and claims centers staffing, and infrastructure clearing and repair. 3.
