Bowler John Festa is Bloomfield High's Athlete of the Month
Festa ranked 17th in New Jersey.
Bloomfield High School Senior and bowling team member John Festa is Bloomfield high school’s February athlete of the month. Festa won the individual sectional champion with a 694 series John and his individual achievement led his team to the New Jersey state section ii championship. At the championship, he advanced to the second round of the state individual tournament while posting a 719 series, ultimately finishing 17th in the state. He had the highest average in the super Essex conference American division. John was selected first team all super Essex conference American division for his overall play.
