I recently moved into an apartment at the Troy Towers with my girlfriend and 2 pets and we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were extremely responsive to all of my inquiries and made sure that our move in went as smooth as possible. The Director of Operations, Cassandra even followed up 2 weeks later to make sure that I had settled in and was happy!! Our unit is spacious enough for both us and the pets. And the best part is the building has utilities included; what a perk!!

My fiancee and I just renewed our lease at Troy Towers. We have been here for 3 years and really don't want to leave. The access to the train is perfect and we just got new windows! The apartments are beautiful and huge!

The apartments are beautiful but everything that has been said about the management is true. Huge rent increases; non responsive management; washers and dryers constantly broke; elevators often out; parking is atrocious! 4-5 people living in 1 studio apt and all have cars...but, apartments are full, move them in and out quickly!

BUILDING AND LANDLORD ARE THE WORST!!

*

We have just moved out of Troy Towers after having lived here for two years. The management here is unresponsive, arrogant and abusive toward the tenants.

It took 6 months to fix a leak in our bathroom which caused mold on the walls and ceiling. We politely asked to have this situation addressed as it was a health hazard, but were told that we would have to “wait our turn”.

We needed service for internet access and management turned away Comcast for a weekend service call claiming they do not allow Comcast on the property during weekends. Internet access is essential for my job and had to take a vacation day from work so that I could have Comcast make the necessary repairs during a weekday.

The parking situation at Troy Towers is a nightmare. In the midst of one of the worst winters we’ve had in years, management’s solution to insufficient parking has been to prohibit tenants from having overnight guests. I have never in my adult life had a landlord dictate to me when I am allowed to have guests until now.

Having been hit with a 17% increase (landlord claimed my apartment was priced below “market value”), we decided to move. Once again no calls were returned regarding our request to renew our lease. Be forewarned that a common tactic used by the management here is to retain your security deposit without cause. We have yet to receive our security back, and the matter is now in the hands of a lawyer.
