Police Substation on Town Council Agenda Monday Night

Bloomfield High School and Bridges Academy have early dismissals this week to accommodate for exams.

Bloomfield’s Township Council meets Monday night at 6:30 for a conference session at the law enforcement building. The agenda includes discussions on creating a new police substation, volunteers for Bloomfield’s Animal Shelter and Fire Department Hires and Promotions.

Bloomfield’s Board of Education meet Tuesday, Jan. 21 meeting was rescheduled for this Tuesday night at the BOE administrative building at 155 Broad Street. Public session starts at 7:30.

Bloomfield’s Photography Club is looking for new members who are interested in learning more about photography at their monthly meetings. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7 at the Civic Center.

The Friday meeting of the Board health is cancelled per an announcement on the Township website.

On Saturday morning the Bloomfield High School Music Program holds its second annual pancake fundraising breakfast at St. John’s church on Liberty Street. Students will be serving breakfast and performing with the band, choir and orchestra. 

The Bloomfield Recreation Department is offering a trip to the NJ Devils vs. Edmonton Oilers game at the Prudential Center on Friday, Feb. 7. Cost is $36 and includes ticket, transportation to the game, and a $10 food voucher. Register at http://www.bloomfieldtwpnj.com/recreation/
