School Board Meets, Preseason play for Fall Teams

There is no Bloomfield Township Council meeting this week. The next official meeting for the Council is Monday, Sept. 3. 

Bloomfield’s School Board meets on Tuesday night, with the public session set to start at 7:30 p.m. 

The School Board meeting’s agenda includes a presentation on High School Proficiency Assessment tests and a presentation on Child Study Teams.

 The Board will also vote on improvements to schools, including door replacements for schools, wheelchair accessibility and locker room renovations in the middle school. 

The Bloomfield High School football team takes on Summit at an away scrimmage on Tuesday morning at 10:30. The boys varsity soccer team faces Morris Hills High at a scrimmage on Foley Field on Friday at 10 a.m.
