Council Honors Police, Residents Protest Library

What to look for in the week ahead.

There will be a regular meeting of the Bloomfield Township Council on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Bloomfield Police Sergeant Michael Moleski and Officer Daniel Freitag will be honored for their response to an armed robbery in July.

Officials will also recognize Glenn Domenick, the head of the Buildings Department, HUD/Community Development Block Grant Programs, Permits and Inspections, for his work in improving Bloomfield’s economic and developmental landscape.

The Library Board meets on Wednesday in the Mayor's Conference Room, 2nd floor of the Law Enforcement Building at Bloomfield Town Hall at 5PM to be ADA compliant. Residents are expected to rally outside the meeting in response to a number of issues at the library, including handicap access and alleged deteriorating conditions of library facilities.
