Charity Jaunt Is First-Ever Trip to Beach for Some Inner-City Youth

With the help of volunteers from the "Street Warriors" charity, 150 children were able to have a fun day at the beach. For some, it was their first-ever trip to the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

The "Street Doctor" Earl Best gave kids from the toughest neighborhoods in Newark the opportunity to experience the Seaside Heights Beach Sunday. Best is a motivational speaker and activist who works with the Street Warriors group and Newark Public Schools.

The day was spent beachside, but also enjoying some of the amenities on the Seaside Heights boardwalk.
