Debbie Mazzeo is April's BHS Athlete of the Month
The softball Ace's record includes six shutouts and a no-hitter.
The April Bloomfield High School athlete is senior softball pitcher Debbie Mazzeo, the BHS athletic department announced today.
In the team’s first ten games this season, Mazzeo tossed six shutouts, including a no-hitter, leading the squad to a 9-1 record. Mazzeo has also excelled at the plate with over a .400 batting average thus far.
Mazzeo will continue her softball career at the County College of Morris.

The Bloomfield high school athlete of the month award is sponsored by the Brookdale ShopRite, which will make a donation to the Bloomfield United Way in recognition of each months winner.
