Boys Cross Country Medals Top BHS Sports Highlights

The following comes courtesy Bloomfield High School Athletics.

Boys Cross Country earned a second place finish at the Livingston Lancer Invitational. Individual medalists included Anthony Ardino, Ryan Wallace and LJ McKenzie.

Girls Volleyball continues to show improvement, knocking off West Essex and County semi-finalist Caldwell.

Boys Soccer dropped a tough one to EastSide in the County Tournament but bounced back with wins over Weequahic and Glen Ridge.

Football dropped a competitive contest to Livingston.

Girls Tennis split two matches losing to Division Champion Belleville and defeating Newark East Side. 

Girls Soccer took Mount Saint Dominic to overtime before falling on a penalty kick.

The Homecoming Football game is this Saturday at Foley Field at 7 p.m. vs Nutley. The Education Foundation is sponsoring a tailgate party prior to the game at Memorial Park at 4 p.m.
