BHS Boys Basketball Bests Belleville, Shabazz, East Orange Campus

Girls basketball picks up win after setback and other Bengal sports highlights.

The following update is provided by the BHS Athletic department.

Boys Basketball continues to play well. The squad reeled off wins over Belleville, Shabazz and East Orange Campus High School.

Girls Hoops bounced back from a loss at Nutley to defeat Arts and Montclair Kimberly Academy.

Wrestling had a busy week tangling with Seton Hall Prep, Lodi, Ridgefield Park and North Bergen. They recorded their first league win by topping Livingston 43-30.

Girls Bowling continues atop the Super Essex Conference as the season passed the midway mark. Both Boys and Girls Bowling compete in the Essex County Tournament this week.

Alumni Updates; Alumni Basketball game is scheduled for Friday January 17 in the Main Gym. For information call Mike Sceurman at 973 743-9074 during business hours.
