Bloomfield Patch Whiz Kids of the Week: Bloomfield High School seniors

Twenty-eight members of Bloomfield High School's senior class donated proceeds from their Yankee Candle fundraiser to the Bloomfield Education Foundation. The contribution will fund an initiative that will allow each junior to take the PSATs next year at no cost.

"The success of this sale is a true testament to the pride and enthusiasm of Bloomfield students," said sale advisor and teacher Theresa Montanino. "Despite being consumed with completing college applications and/or fundraising for their own class, sports teams, or clubs, these seniors rose to the occasion in supporting this very important cause and celebration."

BHS will celebrate its 100th anniversary April 16 at the Villa in Mountain Lakes.
