Volunteers Needed For BEF Gala

Bloomfield Education Foundation offers a great opportunity to support local schools.

Whether you’re an alum of Bloomfield High School or not, Madeline Wollner wants you.  Wollner, Vice Chairman of the Bloomfield Educational Foundation is looking for volunteers for the 2012 Foundation Gala, scheduled for April, 2012.  The foundation helps support and enhance educational experiences for Bloomfield High School students, so anyone with an interest in community support would be a welcome addition.

“To plan and execute a successful event like our Annual Gala, has required the help of many dedicated BEF Board members.  We’d like to invite those in the community with time, talents or treasure, to join us this year on our Annual Gala Committee,” said Wollner.

The BEF is looking for volunteers to solicit advertisements for the evening’s commemorative ad journal, identify companies for sponsorships, and to work on the Silent Auction and merchandise raffle committee. Community members are encouraged to get involved, as much of the money raised from the event benefits the high school in the form of scholarships, extraordinary grants and teacher grants for innovative educational programs.
