School Board Member Expected to Resign Tuesday

Paula Zaccone's resignation reportedly due to changes in committee and school liaison posts.

Bloomfield School Board member Paula Zaccone intends to resign from the board at its Tuesday meeting, Bloomfield Life reports.

Zaccone, Professor of Education at Seton Hall University, was first elected to the Board in 2011

Speaking with Bloomfield Life, Zaccone cited changes to her school liaison positions and committee memberships with the board for her resignation. Zaccone reportedly did not support BOE President Shane Berger bid to head the board or the hiring of Sal Goncalves as Superintendent and indicated she felt the changes were "motivation by hate."
