Franklin School Celebrates Earth Day
Three first grade classes decorate brown paper bags as part of national Earth Day project
Franklin Elementary School students last week were busy decorating brown grocery bags, donated by Brookdale ShopRite, as part of the national Earth Day Groceries Project.
Using colored markers and crayons, three first grade classes hand-designed paper bags with creative environmental messages for the April 22 Earth Day. The bags were then returned to the store and distributed to shoppers.
