Dotoli Posts "Clarification" on Monday Bus Driver Absences

In a letter on the school district's website, interim Superintendent of Bloomfield Schools Nicholas Dotoli addressed the transportation emergency that occurred when 14 drivers and 12 aides called out of work.

In the letter, Dotoli said the employees who called out sick could face disciplinary action, including possible non-renewal of contracts. He said that the lack of bus drivers posed a safety threat to students and that it would have been impossible for him or anyone in his office to predict the call outs.
