Snowstorm Closes Bloomfield Schools Friday
State of emergency declared as heavy snow and extreme cold hit the area.
All Bloomfield public schools will be closed Friday due to the winter storm expected on Thursday night and Friday morning, per an announcement on the school's website.
In an announcement on the Township's official website, Bloomfield officials declared a snow emergency on Thursday. They encourage all residents to stay indoors tonight once blizzard-like conditions develop.
New Jersey is under a State of Emergency as of Thursday evening due to the coming snowstorm.
