Tailgate Party for BHS Alumni, Sponsored by Bloomfield Ed Foundation and Town Pub

Homecoming football game will be played at Memorial Park Oct 1, with food and games for all

The Bloomfield Educational Foundation will sponsor an Alumni Tailgate Party for all Bloomfield High School graduates on Saturday, October 1 at Memorial Park, overlooking newly renovated Foley Field, from Noon-3PM.

Admission is $25 per person and includes access to seating under a 20 x 40 foot tent, Town Pub’s famous thin crust pizzas and appetizers, several 6 ft subs, munchies and a 14 oz. commemorative mug which can be filled up inside the tent with beer, wine or soda.  Traditional tailgate games will be available for those wishing to participate in horseshoes, bean bags, ladder ball and flag football.  After the game is over, guests may take the mug to the event’s co-sponsor, Town Pub, located at 378 Broad St., in Bloomfield, for their specials.

“The BHS football team will take on Millburn High School at 2:30PM at the newly completed Foley Field,” said Michael Sceurman, BEF Chairman, noting that before last week’s home game against the Belleville Buccaneers, the Bengals hadn’t had a home game in two years.  “And what better time is there to welcome them back along with our alumni than at the HOMECOMING game!  We hope to see a large number of our alumni come back to cheer on the Bengals,” said Sceurman.
