Football opened the season with a 34-0 victory over Irvington. Mike Carter threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score. John Varner rushed for 180 yards. Defensively Geo Santos stuffed a Blue Knight runner at the goal line to preserve the shut out.

Girls Soccer gave first year Head Coach Kelly Finamore-Pannullo her first career win by edging McNair Academy 2-1. Theresa Busciano had 18 saves in a loss to Newark Academy.

Boys Soccer lost a tough 2-1 decision to rival Belleville. The Bengals outplayed the Bucs for the majority of the game but a crisp Belleville counter attack was the difference.

Girls Tennis swept University HS 5-0. Jasmine Daniel won at first singles.
