  • Jared Guglielmino had a day most athletes can only dream about. Jared drove in all five runs in the Bengals opening round GNT win over MKA. After hitting a three run homer earlier, he capped his day with a walk off two run shot in the bottom of the seventh. Baseball also defeated West Essex in league play.
  • The boys track team had a stellar performance at the Essex County Relay Championship finishing in fifth place overall. The boys long jump team of Steve Taste and Nick Perry won their event. Javelin-second place; discus and shot put-third place, distance medley and high hurdles-fourth place; 4x1600- sixth place. The girls javelin team finished in sixth place.
  • Boys Volleyball upended Wayne Hills and Golda Och Academy before exiting the Essex County Tournament at the hands of the Belleville Buccaneers.
  • Softball also was eliminated from County play-losing to West Orange.
  • Tennis played well in defeats to Caldwell and State ranked MKA.
  • Golf was hampered by poor weather and look to get back on track this week.
