- The wrestling team competed at the Essex County Championship and performed admirably. Individual titles were garnered by Junior Nate Garcia at 145 lbs and Junior Kyle Christiansen at 170 lbs. Heavyweight Adam Wooten, also a Junior, lost a thrilling triple overtime match to finish in second place. Ian Chauncey earned third place after battling the eventual Champion in a 4-3 semi-final. No team won more individual Gold than the Bengals.
- Boys Basketball sent a message throughout the State with a 53-47 victory over State #17 ranked Bridgewater-Raritan. Jameel Patterson continued his torrid play with 26 points after torching Newark West Side for 34 in another Bengal win.
- Girls Basketball advanced in the Essex County Tourney with a resounding 58-11 triumph over Newark Vocational. Maya Harris and Cierra Middleton tallied eight points each to lead the Bloomfield scorers.
- The Girls Bowling team continues in First place. League competition concludes this Friday and the State Sectional Championship is Saturday at Bowler City. Boys Bowling is still within striking distance of First Place Nutley.
