BHS Wins 2013 National School Change Award

The High school to be honored at 16th Annual National Principals Leadership Institute.

This month, the National Principals Institute named Bloomfield High School a 2013 National School Change Award recipient.

The competition measures schools against 16 specific criteria to see how much they have improved, grown and significantly changed. BHS demonstrated academic improvement by meeting all of the state established targets over the last three years.

BHS is one of only three schools in the country, and the only high school, to be named a 2013 National School Change Award winner. A team of school leaders will attend the 16th Annual National Principals Leadership Institute July 13-19 in NYC where US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will honor the finalists and three awardees.
