BC Students To Beautify Memorial Park Footbridge

As part of a township community art project, Bloomfield College Creative Arts and Technology students will paint two walls near JFK Drive North this weekend.

 

Bloomfield College students will take their art to the streets when they take part in a township community art project this weekend.

Students in the Department of Creative Art and Technology will use their talents to beautify two walls near the Memorial Park Footbridge. They are painting the walls, which are located near JFK Drive North, near the Skate Park.

The painting will take place on Friday and Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. and on Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The artists are students in Adjunct Professor Clark Stoeckley’s class.

The student artists all study under the Creative Arts and Technology program at the college. It combines traditional arts training and technology and students earn degrees in animation, arts education, game development, graphics for print and digital media, multimedia and music technology.

In addition, students in the arts and technology program can take part in a study abroad exchange program at Bournemouth University in England.

The Creative Arts and Technology program is located in the Westminster Arts Center.
