Celebrate Columbus Day on the Green -- plus, transportation is running and your bank may be open but don't expect mail delivery!

Monday is Columbus Day. It is both a state and federal holiday.

What's Open

♦ Public schools and banks have the option to open. 

♦ All financial and stock markets will be open.

♦ NJ Transit and light rails will operate on a normal weekday schedule. Some bus schedules may be affected, but Family SuperSaver fares will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday. For more information and schedules, click here or call (973) 275-5555.


♦ PATH trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

What's Closed

♦ State, local government and courts will be closed.

♦ Post offices are closed. There will be no regular mail delivery.
