Joanow Talks Bloomfield Pride

Councilman Nicholas Joanow is talking Bloomfield pride this month.

On Wednesday night, Second Ward residents are invited to join Joanow at the iHop on 1129 Broad Street for his monthly forum. This month, Joanow is leading a discussion on town pride and what residents can do to improve Bloomfield’s image.

Joanow has invited local Bloomfield real estate professionals to lead a discussion on what local officials, schools and citizens can do to make Bloomfield more attractive for potential residential and commercial property investors and increase property values for current property owners.

In an email, Joanow said the discussion will focus on Bloomfield’s “self-pride” and how it impacts desirability. Joanow and other speakers will look at how Bloomfield stacks up to neighboring communities and will also touch on property values, property tax and revenues.

An open forum will follow the 7:30 presentation.
