Glenwood Village Parking Deck Officially Opens

Officials trumpet new parking facility as key to revitalization of Bloomfield Center.

The Glenwood Village parking lot is open for business.

Bloomfield officials joined with leaders from the County and state in cutting the ribbon on the long-in-the-works parking deck across the street from the Bloomfield train station.

The 468-spot deck is the first phase in the town's downtown redevelopment project. It will be located at the heart of Glenwood Village, a three-acre hub comprised of 50,000 sq. ft. of retail space, 10,000 sq. ft. of restaurant space and 224 apartments.
