Freeholder Candidates Meet in Bloomfield Forum Tonight
The Essex County Tea Party is holding the event.
A candidate forum tonight in Bloomfield will present candidates Steve Rogers of Nutley and Carmen Bucco of Belleville, who are both seeking the Republican nomination for District 5 freeholder in the June 7 primary.
The forum is sponsored by the Essex County Tea Party. The event will take place tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Essex Bar & Grill, 41 Broughton Avenue, Bloomfield.
Katie O’Malley, a professional fundraiser and writer who has worked on political campaigns around the country, will also be a guest speaker.

In addition to her fundraising responsibilities, O’Malley has written for a variety of publications and is a regular radio guest on programs nationwide where she discusses the national political landscape. She is also a featured speaker at conferences and on panels, focusing on the impact of new media, social media and the power of the citizen journalist.
