Civil Rights Discussion at Next Essex County Tea Party Meeting September 27

The Essex County Tea Party Coalition will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, September 27th.  The guest speaker will be David White, New Jersey Chapter President for Congress on Racial Equality (CORE.) 

According to a recent statement issued by the Essex County Tea Party Coalition, Mr. White is a black conservative will speak in defense of the values and concerns of the Tea Party and how they are in line with the same values and concerns of the black community.  

“When polled on issues, these two groups values are more in line with each other than not.  Mr. White will also challenge the agenda that has been set by established black leaders that assumes if you are black you can't be conservative,” said the statement.

The meeting will be take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Essex Bar & Grill, 41 Broughton Avenue, Bloomfield.
