Reward Offered for Information on Death of Bloomfield Man Ibn Futrell

Essex County Sheriff's Office announced a reward of $5,000 for details leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the Feb. 7 murder in Montclair.

 

A $5,000 cash reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of Ibn Futrell of Bloomfield.

Sheriff Armando Fontoura of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office stated that the Crimestoppers program would pay up to $5,000 for details that lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder.  Futrell died as a result of a gunshot wound to his back.  Futrell was killed at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in the area of 4 Mission Street in Montclair.
