BURGLARY 

Residential Burglaries
Nov. 23: An apartment resident on the 100 block of Sherman Court said someone entered his apartment between 1:30 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. and stole HP and Apple laptop computers.

Nov. 23: A woman on the 500 block of Beardsley Avenue said a man tried to enter her residence via the kitchen window. The suspect fled when the woman screamed.

Nov. 23: A woman on the 100 block of Ella Street said someone entered her residence while she was out and stole approximately $220 in cash and ransacked the residence.

Stolen Vehicles

Nov. 23: A 1998 Subaru was stolen from a Farrand Street lot.

Nov. 23: A 2006 Nissan was stolen from North 16th Street.

Nov. 26:  A 1998 Acura was stolen from 49 Patton Dr.

Nov. 28: A 2002 Subaru was stolen from East Passaic and Pilch streets.

Nov. 28: A 1995 Honda station wagon was stolen from 82 Newark Ave.

Attempt Theft Of Vehicles

Nov. 26:  An attempt was made to steal a 2001 Jeep from 122 Floyd Ave.

Theft From Vehicles

Nov. 22: A woman said someone broke the rear window of her car on the 100 block Baldwin Place and stole her GPS and loose change.

Nov. 22: A woman said someone broke the rear window of her car at the intersection of Lincoln and Harrison streets and took a stereo and GPS.

Nov. 24: A woman said someone broke into her car and stole a GPS.

Nov. 25: A woman reported someone broke the rear window of her parked car on the 100 block of Spruce Street and stole her Gucci pocketbook containing her New Jersey driver’s license and several credit cards.

Nov. 27: A man said someone broke into his car on the 100 block of Belleville Avenue and stole a few dollars in change.

Nov. 27: A man reported someone broke into his work van on the 300 block of Berkeley Avenue and stole two nail guns, one framing gun and a Hilti gun.

Nov. 28: A woman reported someone broke into her car on the 300 block of Franklin Street and stole a radio and some clothing in a bag.      

ROBBERY

Nov. 23: A storeowner at 22 1st Ave. reported a man walked into his business, flashed a silver-colored handgun and demanded money.

The suspect, wearing Khaki pants and a gray sweater jacket, fled after receiving approximately $500 from the storeowner.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

Nov. 27: A woman said someone broke the rear window of her car on the 50 block of Orange Street. 

Nov. 27: A man said two young men pulled his mailbox from the ground and threw it up his driveway on the 150 block of Spruce Street. 

Nov. 27: A man reported someone damaged the electric meter on the side of his home on the 100 block of Liberty Street.

MISCELLANEOUS

Arrests

Nov. 25: Nadia Odom of Newark was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Nov. 26: Brandon Barry of Caldwell was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Nov. 26:  Alan Derisi of Bloomfield was arrested for DUI.

Nov. 27: Robert Cook of Bloomfield was arrested for harassment. 

Nov. 28: Chris Figueroa of Newark was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Nov. 28: Alfredo Gonzalez of Bloomfield was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Nov. 28:  Jose Manuel of Newark was arrested for shoplifting.
