Three stolen cars reported last week

Residential Burglary

Mar. 8: A person reported someone broke into his apartment on Belleville Avenue by forcing the door away from the frame. A notebook laptop was stolen.

Mar. 12: A person reported someone entered her storage bin on Grove Street and stole a flat screen television.

Stolen Vehicles

Mar. 9: A 1995 silver, four-door Nissan with New Jersey license plate number SCP63K was stolen off Montgomery Street.

A 2010 grey, four-door Hyundai with North Carolina license plate number WYH6975 was stolen off Beardsley Avenue.

Mar. 12: A 2007 four-door, grey Lexus with New Jersey license plate number ZWH70A was stolen during a carjacking in N. 16th Street.

Theft from Vehicles

Mar. 8: A person reported someone broke the rear window of her vehicle parked on Belleville Avenue, entered and stole her car radio.

Mar. 9: A person reported that at 9:55 p.m., he walked outside and observed a suspect described as a black male in his vehicle on Williamson Avenue. After the suspect fled, the man noticed his Sony car radio had been stolen.

A person reported someone broke into her vehicle parked on Watsessing Avenue and stole her car radio.

Mar. 13: A person reported someone broke into his vehicle parked on Fairview Place and stole her car stereo.

Theft

Mar. 14: A person reported someone stole a package dropped off by UPS in front of his apartment on Davey Street.

Robbery

Mar. 12: A person was held at gunpoint in a carjacking on N. 16th Street.

Criminal Mischief

Mar. 11: A person reported someone threw a large branch through the front window of her home on Wilber Terrace. The person suffered injuries from the glass.

A person reported someone wrote graffiti on his white fence on Montgomery Street.

A person reported someone scratched her vehicle on Charles Street.

Arrests

Mar. 8: Samuel Amoakoh of Newark, N.J. was arrested for DWI.

Mar. 9: Westley Conover of Newark, N.J. was arrested for burglary into auto.

Mar. 10: Joanthony Maldonado of Bloomfield was arrested for DWI.

Mar. 12: Tarquino Rodas of Bloomfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Mar. 13: Anthony Robinson of Bloomfield was arrested for burglary of a dwelling, obstruction, hindering apprehension, and resisting arrest.

Luis O. Alers Jr. of Newark, N.J. was arrested for DWI.

Mar. 14: Michael Ferracane of Levittown, NY was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
