Residential Burglary

Feb. 10: A suspect kicked in the front door of Mastriano’s Deli on Broad Street and removed the cash register and loose change. Missing are $150 in cash from the register and $100 in coins.

Stolen Vehicles

Feb. 7: A man parked his 1992 Chevy on Lawrence Street in November 2010 and found it missing in December. The vehicle’s license plates were returned to the DMV.

Feb. 9: A 1995 Volkswagon Jetta was stolen off Glenwood Avenue and Henry Street.

Feb. 10: A 2007 Toyota was stolen off Davey Street after it was left running

Feb. 11: A 1999 Chrysler wagon with New Jersey license plate number WNV76K. was stolen off Weaver Avenue at Franklin Street.

Feb. 13: A 1996 green Honda Accord with New Jersey license plate number R44AJY was stolen off Olive Street.

Feb. 14: A 1999 silver, four-door Honda Civic with New Jersey license plate number NBL885 was stolen off Hazelwood Road.

Theft From Vehicles

Feb. 7: A suspect smashed the rear passenger window of a Chevy parked on Hill Street and removed a Jensen car stereo and Alpine amplifier. Total loss is valued at $600.

Feb. 8: A suspect smashed a passenger side window and removed a gym bag from the victim’s vehicle parked on Belleville Avenue.

Sometime overnight, a suspect smashed the passenger side window of a 2004 Hyundai parked on Hickory and Sycamore Streets and removed a snowboard, binding, a suit and stereo with a total value of $1,175.

Sometime overnight, a suspect unzipped the soft-top of a Jeep parked on Hazelwood Road. Nothing is reported missing at this time.

Feb. 9: A suspect smashed the passenger side window of a 2007 Nissan Altima parked on Orange Street and removed the stock radio. Incident occurred sometime between 7 and 10 a.m.

Feb. 13: A suspect broke the rear window of a vehicle parked on Franklin Street and stole the car radio.

Feb. 14: A suspect broke into a vehicle parked on Montgomery Street and stole an electronic device.

A suspect broke into a vehicle parked on Dodd Street and stole a GPS unit, CDs, a laptop computer and the registration and insurance to the vehicle.

Theft

Feb. 7: A victim reported someone accessed her bank account and made $777.54 in debit card transactions.

A victim who noticed her credit score was low found two vehicles were purchased in her name in 2007. Two banks tendered loans in the amount of $21,082.

A victim who tried to purchase a vehicle through a Craigslist ad wired $2,950 via Western Union and has been unable to contact the seller since Dec. 30, 2010.

A victim on Waldo Avenue reported several missing items, including a Toro snow blower, from her backyard.

Robbery

Feb. 9: A victim reported three males jumped him on N. 16th Street, knocked him down and stole his wallet contained $10, his drivers license and credit cards. The suspects are described as two black males and one Hispanic males, dressed in jeans and black jackets. All stood about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9.

Criminal Mischief

Feb. 11: A person reported a group of four juveniles punched a hole in the office door of a Montgomery Street Laundromat. The incident was recorded on video.

Feb. 12: A victim reported the front driver side tire of her vehicle was slashed while it was parked on Myrtle Street.

A victim reported a suspect stole her wallet out of her open pocketbook as she was removing mail from her mailbox on Park Avenue.  The victim did not realize what had happened until a later time.

Feb. 13: Two suspects were observed spray painting the side of a business on Bloomfield Avenue.

Feb. 14: A victim reported the driver side tire of her vehicle was slashed while it was parked on N. 17th Street.

Arrests

Feb. 4: Pierre Andre Thomas of Bloomfield was charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault, first degree.

Wesly Jeansimon of Bloomfield was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated sexual assault.

Feb. 8: Ralph W. Rolle of Bloomfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Kevin D. Aterberry of Belleville was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 9: Jose G. Garcia of Bloomfield was arrested and charged with DWI.

Feb. 11: Kamin Collins of Irvington was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 12: Javier Rivera of Newark was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol by an underage person.

Brian Mitchell of Bloomfield was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Emile McClease of Newark was arrested for obstruction and summonsed for being within a township park after dark.

Feb. 13: Eugene Liles of Brooklyn, N.Y. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Rashawn Hubbard of Mount Holly was arrested and charged for possession of CDS.

Robert Jones Jr. of Irvington was arrested for possession of CDS.

Feb. 14: Robert Porter of Newark was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.
