Police Blotter: Electronics, Jewelry Stolen While Homeowner Vacations

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bloomfield police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

BURGLARY

Residential Burglaries

Aug. 23: The victim said while she was on vacation, someone broke into her home on the 100 block of Parkview Drive through a second floor window and stole a television and a DVD player.

Aug. 24: The victim said someone broke into his apartment at 70 Park Ave. and stole various electronics and a Guess watch. The apartment door was locked when he arrived home.

Aug. 26: The victim said someone broke into her apartment on the 200 block of Sylvan Road through a rear bedroom window and stole a mink coat, Russian coins, a Dell laptop computer, two cameras and various items of jewelry.  

Aug 29: The victim said between 2 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. someone broke into his home on the 1200 block of Broad Street through the front door.

Aug. 23: 100 block of Franklin Street 2009 Porsche

Aug. 24:50 block of Ella Street 1996 Honda

Aug. 25: 50 block of Broughton Avenue 2009 Nissan 

Aug. 26: 200 block of North 16 Street 1998 Infinity I30

Aug. 26: 100 block of Broughton Avenue black 2009 Nissan Rogue .

Aug 29: Pleasant Ave and Barbara Street gray 2003 Dodge 4 door.

ATTEMPT THEFT OF VEHICLES

Theft From Vehicles
Aug. 23: The victim reported someone broke her rear vehicle window on the 100 block of Cleveland Terrace, entered the car and took her son’s baseball glove. 

Aug 29: The victim reported hearing a noise outside of 47 Ernst Ave. around 3:15 a.m. and saw a husky man enter the trunk of his vehicle. The suspect stole a bow and several arrows. 

Theft
Aug. 24: The victim said when she returned home to the 100 block of Whittle Avenue from vacation, she noticed a gold diamond ring, and two gold antique necklaces missing. 

Aug. 24: The victim said someone stole her bicycle from the rear of her home on the 50 block of Rowe Street. 

Aug. 26: The victim said the suspect, described as a white man driving a green Chrysler minivan stole 2 tires and rims from a parked BMW M3 from 425 Bloomfield Ave. 

Robbery
Aug. 23: The victim said two black men approached his 2006 BMW at 182 Ampere Parkway while he was sitting in the car talking on his cell phone. 

The first man was described as having shoulder-length dreadlocks and a white t-shirt on. He pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his keys and money. 

The second suspect was described as a heavyset man wearing a black doo-rag. He entered the victim’s car and fled.

Aug 22:  Robert Dunneman of Montclair was arrested for shoplifting. 

Aug. 23:  Adalberto H. Arroyo of Bloomfield was arrested for outstanding warrants. 

Aug. 23:  Rodney Greene of Montclair was arrested for DWI. 

Aug 22:  Robert Dunneman of Montclair was arrested for shoplifting. 

Aug. 23:  Christian Jiminez of  Newark was arrested for shoplifting. 

Aug. 26:  Robert McCaskill of Brooklyn N.Y. was arrested for outstanding warrants. 

Aug. 26:  Pedro Lebron of Newark was arrested for eluding, resisting arrest, theft and various other charges.
