Police Blotter: Business Reports Stolen Newspapers

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bloomfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

June 17: A person in the 100 block of Orange Street reported that someone broke into her apartment through a window and ransacked the bedroom between 10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Nothing was taken in the burglary. A broken chair was utilized to gain access to the window from the outside of the apartment.

June 17:  At 1:15 p.m. an unknown suspect entered a residence in the 50 block of Ella Street through an unlocked bathroom window. The victim, who was home at the time, heard the suspect but thought that it was his father. The suspect then left the home.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

June 17: A person on 48 Franklin St.reported that someone ripped open a screen door in the rear of the business. The person was not able to gain entry into the store, however.

 

STOLEN VEHICLES

June 17: A 2003 red Pontiac wagon with NJ plate number VSU54T was reported stolen from 76 Grove St.

June 17: A 2010 Jeep with NJ plate number HVC6528 was reported stolen from 22 Lewis St.

June 18: A 2000 Volkswagen vehicle with Pennsylvania plate number ZYL83C was reported stolen from 217 Berkeley Ave.

 

THEFT

June 19:  A person at 37 Carteret St. told police that someone stole Star-Ledger newspapers from outside his business.

 

ARRESTS

June 15: Willie McCallop of East Orange was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
June 15: Estaban Barrett of East Orange was arrested for resisting arrest and criminal trespass.
June 16: Salvatore Mondo of Bloomfield was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
June 16: Jenna Nadzan of Bloomfield was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
June 17: Michael Infusino of Bloomfield was arrested for terroristic threats.
June 17: Beqir Uka of Bloomfield was arrested for DWI.
June 19: Kenneth Sampson of Bloomfield was arrested for outstanding warrants.
June 19: Tamaya Juan of Newark was arrested for DWI.
June 19: Jean Tanis of Montclair was arrested for DWI.
