A community meeting with Bloomfield police to address traffic concerns on Broughton Avenue will be held Thursday.
The meeting will be at Demarest Elementary School from 7-9 p.m.
The residential street that stretches nearly 1.5 miles between Bay and Watchung avenues is often used as a shortcut through town.
Two months ago, 16-year-old Christina Lembo was killed in a car accident on Broughton Avenue. Residents at the time had speculated whether speed was a factor in the crash, with some questioning the need for speed deterrents along the road.
