Armed Carjacking on Bloomfield Avenue Under Investigation
Thieves drove stolen car onto the parkway after the early-morning robbery, police said.
The owner of a BMW was carjacked at gunpoint this week, Bloomfield police said.
On Monday at approximately 2:30 a.m., the owner of a gold BMW was approached by two men in a silver Audi on Bloomfield Avenue.
The passenger in the Audi yelled “don’t even think about it” to the victim while brandishing a black handgun, police said.

The gunman, described as a black man approximately 5-foot-7 with dreadlocks wearing a black hoody, exited the Audi and entered the BMW, which police said he drove onto the Garden State Parkway southbound with the Audi following.
The driver was described as a black male with short hair wearing a white T-shirt.
