Good Shepherd Academy class of 2013 got together on Sunday, June 29th for a Summer social. The students, who will be entering 10th grade at various Catholic and public high schools, met at one of their former classmate's house in Belleville, along with their families. The bonds which were made over the years at GSA were not just made with the students but with the parents as well.
Everyone enjoyed good food and fellowship together as they shared their stories from the past year. Everyone was pleased to hear how well all are doing at their current High Schools. Many students finished their 1st year of High School receiving honors. All reported doing especially well in Math and English courses. GSA prepared them well.
The Summer gathering was so successful and well liked that a petition was created and signed to set the date for next year and to assign a house to have it at.
The bonds created at GSA for the students and the families will last a lifetime.
